A co-worker asked me yesterday to rank my favorite animated Disney films (not including any Pixar). Two of my favorite things – making lists & Disney! So I of course accepted the challenge & spent my lunch ranking them. π In order from my favorite to least favorite (and subject to change according to my mood):
1. Sleeping Beauty
3. One Hundred And One Dalmatians
6. Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
11. The Princess And The Frog
12. Tangled
13. Pinocchio
14. Lady & The Tramp
15. The Rescuers
16. The Adventures of Ichabod & Mr Toad
17. The Fox And The Hound
18. Aladdin
19. The Little Mermaid
20. Peter Pan
21. Alice In Wonderland
22. Wreck-It Ralph
23. Mulan
24. Robin Hood
25. Pocahontas
26. Bolt
27. Tarzan
28. Brother Bear
29. Lilo & Stitch
30. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame
31. The Emperor’s New Groove
32. Chicken Little
Not seen or seen so long ago that I can’t accurately rank without seeing them again π

I tried to buy Sleeping Beauty for my daughter but it’s $80 because of Disney’s fascist “Disney Vault” thing. Hopefully they set it free soon.
Yeah – I hate that about Disney movies.
I’ll keep hold of my two copies of Sleeping Beauty, then! π
Great list! I’m a collector of Disney animations so this is awesome stuff right here. My list would look similar and I would probably bump Sleeping Beauty a bit lower. And some of the ones you haven’t seen or haven’t seen in a long time are also some of my faves..haha! Still, love this list π
I’m going to work on watching & re-watching the ones at the bottom of the list. π Really need to watch Fantasia again!
I have the double feature of Fantasia and Fantasia 2000…I just think its made so beautifully..and the music is just awesome. Epic stuff π Can’t wait to read your review for it !
I’ll make sure to try to review it when I do watch it, then. I keep falling behind on my reviews!
Those included some of my top favorites too–Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, Bambi, among a few.
Classics π I’ve always loved the “animal” ones but have gotten more into the princess ones in recent years.
Nice list! I think you’ve got all the best in there, though I remember liking the Great Mouse Detective to a silly degree. I’d definitely recommend giving that a rewatch. π
That’s funny – a few people have mentioned that one to me recently. I’ll give it another try soon! π
Great! Hope you like it. π
