I’m having trouble blogging lately. Been really busy plus starting to find it’s difficult to put my thoughts on movies into words as I’ve used up my very small supply of “big words” now! Plus I’m not actually watching many movies at the moment. And I never seem to get the time to sit down and properly read all of YOUR lovely blogs. So I’m hoping this will force me to get back to writing about movies and maybe get back to writing my godawful haikus and catching up on my blog reading over the next couple of weeks. But first I have to write my Shitfest review. Oh man! When am I gonna do that?! 🙂
Here’s the full list of movies I’ve watched this year and links to all the reviews: Movies Seen In 2013
Big, Big, Big!
Thanks – Vote added. 🙂 Only one vote for Big so far, though!
Once Upon A Time In The West!
Sure, I’ll second this vote 🙂
Thanks to both of you. 🙂 I’m wanting to review this one soon. It’s been a while since I watched it now!
Thanks – Vote added! Not doing great with only two votes for it so far. I’ll do this one eventually anyway as it’s one of the IMDB Top 250. 🙂
Oh Django with Safety Not Guaranteed second
Thanks! Well Django is pretty far in the lead… 🙂
I finally reviewed Django Unchained. 🙂 Link: Django Unchained
Sorry I’m slow! I finally reviewed Safety Not Guaranteed. 🙂 Link here: Safety Not Guaranteed
I actually saw wreck it Ralph. seems like you need a “light” movie to review
Thanks – vote added! Not currently in the lead but I’ll review it eventually. 🙂
I’ll throw in a vote for Stoker 🙂
Thanks. It’s closing in on Django! 🙂
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
Safety Not Guaranteed!
Vote added, although it’s pretty far behind so far… Thanks! 🙂
Sorry I’m slow! I finally reviewed Safety Not Guaranteed. 🙂 Link here: Safety Not Guaranteed
Django, Gatsby and The Machinist!
Hehe. Thanks – all votes added! Django currently far ahead but the others don’t stand much of a chance… I’m sure I’ll try to do them all eventually. 🙂
🙂 Can’t wait to see what you think of Django, it was an excellent film!
Agree! Although it certainly wouldn’t be as high on my list without the amazingly brilliant Christoph Waltz. 🙂
I finally reviewed Django Unchained. 🙂 Link: Django Unchained
Yay! Heading over there now!
I finally reviewed The Machinist here: The Machinist. Not sure when I’ll get around to Gatsby… I didn’t like either as much as Django Unchained, though. 🙂
😛 Not difficult to see why that is!
I dunno which Nosferatu you are referring to, but either way that is my vote.
Oops. 1922. Thanks – I’ll add your vote. 🙂
They are both well worth seeing. Actually I think I even slightly prefer the Herzog version.
Hmm… Maybe I should try to check that one out now too. I did enjoy the 1922 one.
Did I vote the first time?
Yep. Bicycle Thieves. I reviewed it. Yes, I have a scary memory. 🙂
Oh, but you can vote again! 😉
Aha! Well then I’d like to vote Stoker.
Vote added! Currently a close second. 🙂
I am not sure what I voted on before but I am choosing Stoker this time – but AFTER the SHITFEST movie!!
Vote added! Looks like Stoker will probably be second. But, yeah – first I have to watch the absolute shittiest movie EVER. Bloody hell – why am I doing this to myself?! 😉
Because you believe in SHITFEST!!
Indeed, I do. Your blog is my church. 🙂
: )
AMEN SISTA!
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
I read it on my phone this morning. I hope to get online later and give you some commentary : )
I’m thinking Man on a Ledge should be the Shitfest submission : )
Aww – Bit harsh! It would never have won any Oscars but it wasn’t THAT bad… 🙂
LOL – YES IT WAS!!!
Naaaaaaaaah! It was just a little shitty.
LOL
Stoker!
Thanks! Vote added. Currently a close second. 🙂
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
DJANGO!!!
Hmmm. You know – I think you voted for that last time so I’ve already counted your vote. Screw it – I’ll count it again! 😉 But to make it a bit more fair, you can pick a second one too.. 🙂
The Iron Giant!!!
Lol! Shit. I think you also voted for that last time too…! 😉
Well there my damn choices, stop asking me the same question. That is literally the definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results 😀
It’s like Groundhog Day! Keep choosing! Just vote for Once Upon A Time In The West, dammit!!! Bwahaha!
Never! Just watch Django and Iron Giant!
Hehe. Already watched! 🙂 Dammit – I’ve added your second vote for The Iron Giant anyway. :-p
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I finally reviewed Django Unchained. 🙂 Link: Django Unchained
Finally!!!
I saw Stoker this week – which is now on the top of my list for the worst movie of the year. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. 🙂
Thanks – vote added. 🙂 I’ll say I didn’t hate it but, after all the hype, I was very disappointed…
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
The Machinist!! When I first saw that movie back in, I think 2004 or 2005, I didn’t know who Bale was. I looked him up on IMDB and he was known to me as “that guy who was in ‘American Psycho’ who turned freakishly skinny.”
Thanks – vote added. 🙂 Don’t think it’ll win but I’ll still review it sometime. I have such a thing against Christian Bale – not sure why!
I finally reviewed The Machinist here: The Machinist. 🙂
I’ve gotta vote for The Machinist. Saw it for the first time not too long ago, and it really impressed me. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Thanks! Vote added. That one is moving up now… Don’t think it’ll be the first one I do but I’ll still get around to it eventually so will let you know when I do. 🙂
I finally reviewed The Machinist here: The Machinist. 🙂
If it’s not too late, I’d put my punt in for Stoker, just curious what you’d think of that film.
Thanks! You’ve broken the tie so it looks like it’ll probably be the first one I do. 🙂 Didn’t think to give a “deadline” but will probably give it until Monday night.
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
Safety Not Guaranteed. I finally saw it myself. Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson. I rest my case.
Thanks for voting! This one ended up in third place so I’ll be reviewing it at some point fairly soon. Have to force myself to write these now… Stoker is first & will probably be done tonight. 🙂
Sorry I’m slow! I finally reviewed Safety Not Guaranteed. 🙂 Link here: Safety Not Guaranteed
I so feel you when it comes to blogging lately. I took a few days of from everything after working my butt of for a couple of weeks, so it is kinda hard to get back on the track.
But when it comes to my vote, I voted Django last time but Stoker might be interesting too because it hasn’t even come out in Finland, in any format.
Thanks – Stoker is the winner. 🙂 I’ll probably review that tonight. Having such a hard time forcing myself to do reviews at the moment! Django got second place so I’ll be doing that one soon too.
Stoker won! 🙂 Finally posted the review here: Stoker
