I’ve participated in yet another Question Of The Month for the amazing Luke over at Oracle Of Film. This month’s question was “What Upcoming Movie Are You Most Anticipating Right Now?”. You can view my reply (which may be obvious from the above photo) and a bunch of other great answers HERE. 🙂
Now, since answering that I’ve read about and seen a trailer for two pretty damn cool looking movies. One is called Ex Machina and it’s been directed by Alex Garland, the guy responsible for writing things like 28 Days Later & Sunshine and it sounds like the kind of sci-fi I love. Here’s a short plot synopsis from IndieWire (and you can read more at the link):
Ex Machina is an intense psychological thriller, played out in a love triangle between two men and a beautiful robot girl. It explores big ideas about the nature of consciousness, emotion, sexuality, truth and lies.
Then I saw the below trailer for Autómata and, damn – that looks good too! I do love sci-fi more than anything – Can’t wait to see all of these!
Dear Sir or Madam,
How about Interstellar? HELLO.

Dear Sir or Madam(?),
HELLO! I mentioned that one if you’d actually READ my ANSWER! ;-p lol
Regards,
CPD
Dear Sir or Madam,
I DID read it. ALL of it. IT is NOT mentioned on THIS page. I ALSO made a COMMENT to you on THAT page that YOU have grossly IGNORED.
Sincerely,
IPC
Annnnnnd…. Why is Interstellar not top of my list now??? ; )
I haven’t seen it!!
Interstellar? It’s not out yet! Whatchoo talkin bout Willis???
What the hell’s going on over there??
Don’t know. I think you’ve lost your MIND, man! ; )
I wanted to see Interstellar based on that amazing teaser trailer. THEN I saw Anne Hathaway’s mouth in the long trailer and I’m now far less excited. So… NYAH. :-p (But I already SAID that on Luke’s site. And I like you more than Steve Buscemi. Although he’s probably a better listener…. Lol!) ; )
I’m so confused in this comment thread that I don’t know if I’ll ever recover.
#unrecoverable
#boysareeasilyconfused 😉
Yes. Boys are simple.

I don’t keep up with all the movies that will be coming out (part of me wanting to go into movies knowing as little as possible), but I know I want to see Interstellar (even though I don’t know when it will be released over here).
I do still very much want to see Interstellar as well. : ) I really hope it gets a UK release date that’s the same as the US!
I do really like that trailer. Oh I should review it!
Oh! You should! Have you by now?? I’m very behind on the blogs!!! : )
I have not. left it way too late. Damn being busy 😦
I had not heard about that movie until you mentioned it. Interested in seeing it and yeah I picked Interstellar so don’t hate… participate! And yes I almost hesitated in picking that because Anne Hawthaway is annoying as hell. Hatha-hata.
Lol! Hatha-hata. I like that! ; ) Don’t get me wrong – I’m still desperate to see Interstellar. Despite the Hathaway. Lol. ; )
Seriously! Hatha-hata, how did she suddenly become annoying? I remember there was a point where she was not so bad.
True! It’s only in recent years that I feel this way. : )
Awesome trailer. Can’t wait to see your option for the Iconic Female Movie blogathon.
Yes – that trailer makes that movie look very cool! And… I’ve posted my iconic female choice today. : )
You will love tomorrowland. I had a tiny little job on it, absolutely amazing. Even just th pre-vis.
Really??? That’s awesome! Can we get an inside scoop? Lol. ; ) I can’t wait to see it – I’m confident it’ll be amazing based on those involved in the film. : )
I programmed a musical instrument, coached the actor’s performance, and provided on set support. Just a short scene but it was astonishing to see the sheer scale of the production. Can’t say anything about it tho. They were a bit surprised at how few people have / work with that particular instrument (good for me 😉
My most anticipated is probably the new Star Wars movie next year. As arguably the world’s biggest Star Wars fan 😉 I’m really excited but also really nervous about this one. Hopefully it will be good. Don’t fail me, Disney!
Lol. Yes – I mentioned that one but I’m SO nervous about it as well… And, hmm… I’m not sure about the “world’s biggest Star Wars fan” thing as I think that may be my hubby! lol. : )
