I’d like to thank everyone who has done a guest review for my IMDB Top 250 Challenge. I should have planned ahead & saved the horror reviews for October. I’ve kept a few of my favorite Top 250 horrors for myself to review someday so will post one of those the last week of this month and have another review of a modern horror classic from Guest Reviewer Eric posting next week.
As I don’t have a new review of a horror movie from the Top 250 today, I figured I’d post this horror recap with links to the guest reviews (and one I did myself) in case you missed them. Thanks again, everyone! I’ll continue posting the IMDB reviews every Tuesday for the rest of this year then will see how many I have for 2015 as the guest reviews have started drying up. Does anyone want to join in who hasn’t yet done one? Let me know. 🙂
Se7en 1995 (Guest Reviewer: The IPC)
The Silence Of The Lambs 1991 (Guest Reviewer: Raging Fluff)
Pan’s Labyrinth 2006 (Guest Reviewer: Cameron’s Pit Of Terror)
The Sixth Sense 1999 (Guest Reviewer: Flick Chicks)
The Exorcist 1973 (Guest Reviewer: Celluloid Junkie)
Rosemary’s Baby 1968 (Guest Reviewer: Film Grimoire)
Sweeet! Looks like you guys watched a lot of great flicks!
So, without reading the book first, I went and saw Gone Girl this weekend. It was fucking nuts! I’m glad I didn’t read the book first, I don’t think I would have liked it as much. And is it just me, or is Ben Affleck like a super mega dream hunk now?
Lol! I totally missed this comment when I freaked out & took time off from the blog! Yeah, Gone Girl is nuts but…. Amy Dunne is awesome! Hmm… I’m still not crazy about Affleck but know you find him super SEXY. 😉 I’ll stick with Chris Hemsworth for now!
Great picture to use from The Exorcist!
Agree! I don’t exactly *love* The Exorcist but I’ve always liked that image. 🙂
cheers for the repost!
You’re welcome! 🙂
Hi – I am having really fucking frustrating connectivity issues with lovely wordpress so: LIKE!
It’s so bad I may not be able to do new posts soon – it will make Brian very happy.
Now that’s a situation worth putting on a Sadness blouse for.
Tom – I got it all fixed up a couple of hours ago 🙂
#onepersonrejoiced
I know what it’s like to have WordPress problems…..
Goddamn it, I am so bad at this!! Lol, you still can count on me for reviews of The Elephant Man and Gone with the Wind. My goal will be, and this does sound ridiculous I know since there’s still a lot left of this year, to have those in to you by the end of the year. I’d rather set a realistic deadline and turn it in way sooner than disappoint again. Teehee!!!
Now, to get to reading some more of the preexisting guest reviews. . . . 😉
Lol! Don’t worry, Tom – I’m slowing way down on posting them anyway (once a week after taking October off for only horror movie reviews). Anytime you get time is good! 🙂
drying up???? you keep holding me back 🙂
You can send one for the second Tuesday of November if you want. 🙂 I have to get back into the swing of posting these.
already on it. 🙂
