As part of my IMDB Top 250 Challenge, I’m reblogging this review I did of The Wolf Of Wall Street since the Oscars are coming up and Leonardo DiCaprio is of course up for an Oscar for The Revenant. Good! 😉
Sometimes it feels good to be banned 😉
Excellent! 😉
A super fun movie that I enjoyed far more than I expected to!
Agreed! I went to it not really knowing what to expect. I was NOT expecting the film that I saw. I loved it! 🙂
I kind of put off watching it because of duration, but then it started and 5 minutes in I was hooked! Loved the comedy (and Jonah Hill!) I shall watch it again soon 🙂
Says the girl who watched The Hateful Eight… 😉 lol
In February man!!!! Lol. Which was still relatively quick for me, wouldn’t have done it for any other movie though you’re right 🙂 haha.
Yeah… I do love Tarantino but the running time makes me a bit tired just thinking about it 😉
I’m glad I’m not the only one lol. I fee like a philistine sometimes but I can’t help but always hope duration is under 2 hours!
Hehe. That’s why I did that list of best movies that are 90 minutes or less. I’m happy with that 90 minute mark. 😉
I always said you were a genius! And that is a brilliant idea for a list 🙂
Well, genius may be pushing it a bit… But thank you! 😉
Not pushing it at all, fair and true! 🙂
I tried. I just couldn’t make it through it – the movie, not the review! 😉
What?! Seriously?! 🙂 I absolutely loved it. But I’m glad you made it through the review. 😉 lol
So much fun to watch. But also happens to shed some light on Belfort and the whole empire he created and practically owned. Nice review.
Thanks! Agreed – it was way more fun to watch than I was expecting. 🙂
Hey lady! I can do The Help for you if someone hasn’t nabbed it yet?
Cool – that would be great! No one has nabbed it yet. Thanks!! 🙂
I still freaking LOVE this movie! It was fantastic and DICAPRIO.
Same here! It was hilarious. And Leo was the best! I’m still pissed off that he didn’t win an Oscar for this.
Movies sometimes sensationalize things but then you realize this one is motsly true. I thought Scorsese did well to show the craziness. Entertaining to the max! It’s miles better than the big short, the break the fourth wall bits here feel more appropriate. Oh by the way, I nominated you to do a letter to myself letter 🙂 https://filmandnuance.wordpress.com/2016/01/30/letter-to-myself-dear-future-me-tag/
Oh, sooooo much better than The Big Short! And a million times more entertaining. 😉 Thanks for the nomination! 🙂
