Book Poll Results: And The Winner Is…

Thanks to everyone who voted in my poll HERE, in which I asked what book you all thought I should read next.

I’ve just started reading the book with the most votes: Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

I’ll try to read the rest in order so feel free to still vote! I’ll check if any of these change before I move onto the next book. At the moment, these are the results:

1. Neverwhere
2. Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?
3. TIE: The Colour Of Magic & The Princess Bride
4. TIE: Heart-Shaped Box & Mr Mercedes
5. The Prestige
6. TIE: Off To Be The Wizard & Body Of Evidence
7. TIE: 20th Century Ghosts & The Snowman
8. The Death Cure

    • I’m really enjoying it so far! I’ve read about 100 pages. Didn’t realize it was a British TV mini-series! I’ve not looked into his other work yet but that’s now two recommendations for American Gods. So far, I think I’d read another of his based on this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Hope you love it! Dammit, WHY is Hill so far down the darn list?! I can second Kim’s suggestion of American Gods – it was brilliant. I see they are making a TV show of it now. So much potential!

    • I know!!! I really want to read Heart-Shaped Box soon. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Maybe it’ll get more votes. ๐Ÿ˜‰ That’s interesting – I didn’t know that Neverwhere was also made into a TV mini-series until I started reading it. I better have American Gods be next on my list of Gaiman books, then!

    • Agreed! I’m glad they chose this one. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m enjoying it quite a bit so far. American Gods is the one that people keep recommending! I’d be interested to know what you think of that when finished. ๐Ÿ™‚
