My Top Ten Movies Watched At Home In 2017

I watched a lot of movies at home this year (87) and I feel like these movies get ignored as people only list current releases in their year-end lists. Well, I’ll be posting My Top Ten Movies Released In 2017 tomorrow. But I always enjoy this list slightly more. Once again, I watched some true older classics at home this year.

87 movies are too many to list but I do have the full list (ranked & rated because I’m a loser!) HERE if you really want to see them all plus which ones are at the very bottom (Lifeforce & The Neon Demon, FYI). So let’s talk about the 30 best ones!

  1. I think Rocky may need to go on my Blindspot list for next year. I’m not a big fan of boxing movies (I really disliked Million Dollar Baby and Raging Bull, for example), but Rocky is Rocky, right?

Train to Busan was great. I’m currently considering it for my own top ten of 2017. I don’t think it’ll place quite as high, but then I watched different old films so…

    • Yep! Put Rocky on your list for next year. There’s, like, almost no f*^king in the movie. Which is great. 😁 Raging Bull…. Ugh. I didn’t like that. But I loved Million Dollar Baby. Waaaaay more boxing in that than in Rocky. I promise. 🙂

I hope Train To Busan got a good ranking in the end. I WILL find out!

  2. I love your top 10. Sicario was amazing. I can’t wait for the second movie. Rocky is a classic favorite of mine. Million Dollar Baby ripped my heart out.

    • Yeah, Sicario isn’t at all the type of genre I normally go for but it was so GOOD. And I see why Rocky is a classic. And Million Dollar Baby ripped my heart out too, even though the whole story had been spoiled for me beforehand. 😦
