About Me

Hi. I’m an American girl in England. I like movies, music and books. I doubt I’m alone in starting a movie blog. I’m probably not all that original or all that interesting. I like some great movies and I like some terrible ones. Whatever puts a smile on my face… And I need a hobby besides watching movies so I figured I’d start writing about them as well!

I’m really very boring. Just a warning. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Hi Cinema Parrot Disco!!

We wanted to reach out to you regarding a cool collaboration our networks wanted to propose… We want to team up with movie critics, movie bloggers, and movie fans!

We are the Movie & Music Network – a site similar to Netflix … Except our content is all about the classics throughout time! Everything from cult epics, terror, science fiction, classic tv, cartoons, and more! We’ve got the best of the best.

Our sister network is the 99 Cent Network – a site dedicated to the movie collector. For 99 cents you can buy three movies, and begin building a library. Share these movies with friends FREE! How cool, right?

We would LOVE to team up with you and your blog in social media promotion, giveaways to your readers, movie reviews, and overall … A great relationship! Firstly, let us offer you FREE access to our networks – as a thank you for teaming up and spreading the word .. We will do the same.

I hope we can chat about some future opportunities … Let’s make a splash in the online conversation of cinema!

      • You’re more than welcome! And don’t worry at all it’s hard keeping up with everything I don’t mind ๐Ÿ™‚ in fact makes me feel better I’m rubbish at keeping up with comments !!!!!

  2. Hi. Thank you for the follow. You have a really cool blog here. I hope you’re enjoying being ‘an American girl in England.’ My husband’s an American man in England who wishes he was back in America! Haha ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Interesting blog, I am not sure if I have commented under this section before. I do believe that girl film reviewers are unrepresented in the industry. All we see is guys’ viewpoints on films. This needs to change.

    • Thanks! I totally agree – we don’t hear women’s opinions that often. That’s why I like this blogging thing – I don’t know any women in real life who like movies as much as I do so I was surprised to find quite a few female movie bloggers on here. I love that! Of course, I read all movie blogs but it’s nice not being the only girl movie blogger. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • HEY! I found your comment. Finally! Lol. Once they disappear from the app’s notifications when I fall behind, they’re hard to find (I do all my blogging on a phone). Thank you for this! I’ll check out your post. : )

    • Oh, wow – that’s definitely a documentary I’d be interested in seeing! Thanks for letting me know. Freaks is such a great film with such a timeless message. I wish more people would see it. Good luck on the documentary! : )

  4. Thanks…appreciate the reply. I’ll keep plugging along and continue to work on it until it’s done right. Hoping to finish this year…but if not, whenever I finish it, I’ll finish it…no time limit. All the Best, Steve

    • Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m just catching up on all your comments now. Ah, yes – Eric’s blog is a great one too! He’s not around much at the moment due to not having the time but still posts when he can. Me too – I’m not around much lately but I do try to at least keep up on reviewing current releases. : )
