My Top Ten TV Shows Watched In 2021

Happy New Year! (again)

Here’s post 2 of my year-end top ten lists. Onto the fun movie lists starting tomorrow! But I watched more TV shows than usual in 2021 plus a lot of them were really good (better than the majority of 2021 movies).

I’m cheating on a few where I’ve not seen the full series but, with things like Yellowjackets, I kind of know where I’d rank them anyway. And these aren’t all brand new 2021 shows but there are quite a few really new ones in the list.

Here are My Top Ten TV Shows Watched In 2021 (but I’ve ranked them all, so I’ll count down to the Top Ten):

23. The Flight Attendant: S1
22. And Just Like That…: S1 So Far
21. Mare Of Easttown: S1

Top Twenty:

20. Cruel Summer
19. Nine Perfect Strangers: S1
18. Grey’s Anatomy: S17 & S18 E1-8
17. Alice In Borderland: S1
16. Chucky: S1
15. Erased
14. Children Of The Stones: S1
13. Hawkeye: S1
12. The Crown: S2, S3 & S4 E1-4
11. The White Lotus: S1

Top Ten:

10. Lisey’s Story

9. Loki: S1

8. Sweet Tooth: S1

7. Midnight Mass: S1

6. Monsters At Work: S1

5. WandaVision: S1

4. Yellowjackets S1 E1-7

3. Ted Lasso: S1 (not seen season 2 yet as no longer have Apple TV)

2. Cobra Kai: S3 & 4

1. Squid Game: S1

Loved Squid Game SO MUCH! And a quick mention of The Book Of Boba Fett, which I can’t really include as there’s only been one episode as I’m writing this. Hoping to love it but doubt it’ll quite live up to The Mandalorian.

Earlier I posted My Top Ten Books Read In 2021. Tomorrow I’ll be posting My Top Ten Older Movies Watched In 2021 then finally My Top Ten 2021 U.K. Movie Releases on Friday.

Moshi Monsters: The Movie (2013) Review For Shitfest At The IPC

20140705-073235 am-27155852.jpg

Most of you probably know by now but this dude named Eric over at The IPC runs something called Shitfest in which bloggers all take turns reviewing really bad movies then we all get to vote for the best review. You can view my entry, a “review” of Moshi Monsters: The Movie, HERE. πŸ™‚

**NOTE: I’m going to do a mini serious review here:

I’ve been busy lately & not had time to do many reviews so I asked in this poll HERE which film I should review next. Well, Moshi Monsters: The Movie won by a landslide. I figure either some people were messing with me or else a bunch of 5-year-olds somehow ended up on my blog. πŸ˜‰ So, in case the votes were for real, here’s a quick honest opinion of the movie (the Shitfest review is obviously just for fun – don’t read it if you’re five! It’s very rude & swear-y):

This is NOT a good movie. As an adult, you’ll hate it. This isn’t a Pixar film – it was made ONLY for kids under the age of 7 or so. You’ll be bored out of your mind if you’re older than that. However, your young kids will love it if they’re already a fan of Moshi Monsters (but probably not if they aren’t – I think they’d need to know the characters a little in the first place). There’s nothing wrong with the film and certainly nothing inappropriate. It’s just… stupid. There’s not really a better word for it. So, if you voted for me to review this movie because you have a kid who likes Moshi Monsters, I can tell you that they WILL like this movie and I can at least say that there’s nothing you’d have to worry about your kids seeing in this – it’s aimed at a very young age group. Just balance it out with a Pixar movie as well so that their brains don’t rot. To be fair, it’s a lot better than all those Barbie movies! πŸ™‚
